Day tour South cost adventure.
This tour takes us along the beautiful south shore of Iceland to the extraordinary glacial lagoon, Jökulsárlón.
We will pass some charming villages as well as Skaftafell National Park and visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall and Skógafoss waterfall.
Just before we reach the lagoon we pass Iceland´s biggest volcano,Öræfajökull glacier wich has the highest peak of yhe island,Hvannadalshnjúkur (2110 m).
After we arrive at the lagoon we take a boat tour on the lagoon.(Note there are usually no boats until mai there are usually too much ice in the lagoon for boats)
Boats that carry us are no ordinary boats as thet are capable to drive short distances also on land.
Jökulsárlón started to form in the early nineteen twenties ans is getting bigger every year.
You will see many amazing blockof ice that have broken from the glacer who is the biggest in Europe,Vatnajökull,as they sail slowly towards the ocean witch is only kilometer away .
after visit to Vatnajökull we head to Reykjavik.
Boat prices and extra cost is not included in the trip !
